PhD Students

We are currently looking for multiple motivated candidates who are interested in pursuing their Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering Department at University of Nevada Reno starting from Fall 2019 or Spring 2020. Interests can be in phase field modeling  or crystal plasticity finite element modeling. The candidates are expected to have background in one of the following areas: Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other closely related disciplines. Bachelor GPA of at least 3.0, Proficiency of English is required. Experiences in MATLAB, C/C++ is desired. You are welcome to send me your CVs, transcripts to lmushongera@unr.edu
